Inner Mongolia Guocheng Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guocheng Industrial), located in Zhuozi County and Liangcheng County, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, was established in 2005 with registered capital of 1.05 billion yuan. It is a large-scale green mining enterprise specializing in molybdenum ore mining and processing.
Dsuji Molybdenum Mine, owned by the company, ranks as China's fourth-largest molybdenum deposit. The mine covers a mining area of 1.6796 square kilometers and an exploration area of 1.54 square kilometers. Currently, the cumulative proven resource reserves amount to 346 million tonnes, containing 424,200 tonnes of molybdenum metal at an average grade of 0.122%. In May 2024, the molybdenum resource assessment was completed and filed, confirming reserves of 162 million tonnes above 890m elevation with 191,500 tonnes of molybdenum metal at an average grade of 0.118%. Over the past three years (2022-2024), the mine has maintained an average annual production capacity of 5 million tonnes.
As a high-tech enterprise, the company has accelerated the construction of intelligent mines by leveraging new technologies, processes, and equipment to drive industrial upgrading, achieving integration of informatization and industrialization as well as circular economic development. The company continuously promotes green mine construction, gradually increasing the utilization of clean energy to achieve ecological environmental protection and sustainable economic development. Since 2023, in collaboration with leading domestic new energy enterprises, the company has successively launched several new energy transformation projects, including the "Ulanqab Guocheng Low-carbon Facility and Equipment Construction Project," the "Dsuji Molybdenum Mine Open-pit Mining Green Transformation and Energy-saving Belt Conveyor System Construction Project," and the "Dsuji Mining矿区25MW Wind-Solar Complementary New Energy Project." In 2024, the company was honored with provincial-level recognitions such as Green Mine, Innovative SME, and Water-saving Enterprise, while also being designated as a Provincial-level Industrial Digital Transformation Demonstration Enterprise. In April 2024, the company successfully established a Postdoctoral Research Station after approval by the National Postdoctoral Management Committee.
